Thermo Therapy
Peat Treatment

Read the information below on what a peat treatment is and when this type of massage is (or not) beneficial.

What is Thermo Therapy?

It refers to the use of heat or cold in medical treatments to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and promote healing.

What is a Peat Treatment?

Peat wrap is a form of thermotherapy that uses a natural healing resource – peat, its properties and heat acting directly on the body. Peat is a natural substance that was created by a humification process without access to air.

Peat contains 95-99% organic substances (e.g. peat moss, dry peat, humic acid or various minerals and biogenic elements), which have positive effects on our body. Peat is applied in a crushed state in the form of wraps, compresses or baths and is a popular natural resource widely used in spas, rehabilitation or wellness centers. Peat wraps are most often used in combination with classic massage or alone as a supportive agent for a number of diseases (most often musculoskeletal).
